Welcome to Steven de Beer Photography. By booking a session or using my services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These are here to protect both you (the client) and myself (the photographer), and to ensure a smooth experience.
Bookings & Payments

A non-refundable retainer fee is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is due on or before the day of the shoot, unless otherwise agreed.

Bookings are only secured once the retainer has been received.
Cancellations & Rescheduling

If you need to cancel, please notify me as soon as possible. The retainer is non-refundable but may be transferable if you reschedule within 3 months (subject to availability).

If I am unable to attend due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond my control, I will either reschedule your session or refund your payment in full.
Travel & Locations

Travel within Stellenbosch is included. For locations outside this area, additional travel fees may apply.

Clients are responsible for securing permission or permits for chosen locations, if required.
Image Delivery

Edited images will be delivered digitally via an online gallery within 4 weeks of the session.

The number of images delivered depends on the package chosen (Silver, Gold, or Platinum).

RAW or unedited images are not provided.
Copyright & Usage

All images remain the copyright of Steven de Beer Photography.

Clients receive personal usage rights to print and share their images for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Images may not be sold, edited, or used for commercial purposes without written permission.

I reserve the right to use images for my portfolio, website, and social media, unless the client specifically requests otherwise in writing before the session.
Client Responsibility

Please arrive on time for your session. Late arrivals may result in reduced shooting time.

Children and pets must be supervised by an adult at all times during the shoot.
Liability

I take the utmost care in providing professional services. However, I cannot be held responsible for circumstances beyond my control (e.g., weather, technical failure, or unforeseen events).

In the rare case of total photographic failure, my liability shall be limited to a refund of all payments received.
